Welcome-Laura Santos
TWO GROUPS OF PEOPLE:
- People representing their
organization or exhibit
- People in Security, Facilities,
and ES&H
SECURITY:
Discussed parking and entrances-
Post 1, 3, 14, 12, and 17
Discussed uncleared in PPA
and limited area:
Guests:
- U.S. citizens must be escorted
in limited area but do not require an escort in PPA area.
- Non-sensitive country foreign
nationals require escort at all times in PPA area, ad could only enter
limited area with approval of DOE and Paul Robinson.
- Sensitive country foreign
nationals require an escort at all times in PPA area and will not be
allowed in limited area.
Children under the age of 15
must be escorted at all times.
Stamps will be placed on hands
so that it is possible to enter and exit the site at any time.
EXHIBITS:
Encourage not to have exhibits
in limited area, except for Visualization Center in B912 basement.
No exhibits in vault area.

- Review and approve all exhibits
from ES&H, Fire Marshall, Medical, Facilities, Coordinator, and
Security.
- Comments from these groups
are placed in comment box in tracking reports page.
- Facilities will fulfill
requests and comments for tables, chairs, etc. before Sandia Day.
- Exhibits approved only if
all groups checked off the box at the exhibit glance page.
- Additional approve boxes
on the tracking reports page will be made for all ES&H groups.
- Exhibit request form

- Type your new exhibit
name in the indicated box to put in a new exhibit request form.
- To revise old exhibits,
type exhibit name in indicated "revise" box.
- A box to revise "exhibit
titles" will be provided shortly
REGISTRATION:
Type password (goldrush) in
the box called "main checklist" under the button Tracking Reports
on the internal web.
- This page shows the number
of people attending Sandia Day.
- Foreign nationals indicated
in red.
- Soon this page will be
fixed so that employees can register even if they do not have a guest.

FOOD:
The Fun Company will be here
on Thursday, August 25th to discuss the food items, logistics,
and the locations of the exhibit displays.
- Will discuss plans for
meal costs for adults and kids.
- Secretaries will help
distribute meal tickets to every host.
- Unlimited food from 11
a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Food will include hamburgers,
hot dogs, chips, snow cones, popcorn, sodas, lemonade, fruit punch,
and water.
TEAM CELEBRATION: September 16th ice cream
social.
CONCERNS:
- Vendors coming in on Sandia
Day must be U.S. citizens.
- Vendors must submit their
safety guidelines and follow Sandia Guidelines as well (Please see
ES&H Guidelines on the web).
- Vendors must be sure their
equipment is not hazardous for the people during Sandia Day.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT:
Committee members publicize
in your departments clean-up, registration, and exhibit registration for
Sandia Day.
Can anyone volunteer a couple
of hours to help on Sandia Day?
