Sandia Day

Sandia Day California will be held at Sandia National Laboratories on Saturday, September 11, 1999. It will be one of the major activities scheduled during 1999 to celebrate Sandia's 50th anniversary. It also will be the first time in five years that Sandia California will have set aside a day when Sandians, their families and friends, and special guests will have an opportunity to learn about Sandia, its mission, and its multifaceted programs. The day is meant to be educational as well as fun. And in keeping with the spirit of celebrating our 50th anniversary, there will be a special focus on exhibits and events that highlight the many contributions Sandia has made to the community and to the nation's security over the past 50 years.

Sandia New Mexico is also planning a Sandia Day on Saturday, September 25, 1999.
