NOTE: To return to the Main Menu from any Data Selection Screen, Click on ISMT in the headder banner at the top right of the page.

Select National Operational Command Center from the Main Menu.

Click the Go button.

The following kinds of reports can be generated from the NOCC Database:


Location | Date Range | Facility Event | Delays | Outage Causes | Other Information | Reports

Set the Report Parameters 

  1.  Location can be set by using either a Location Code or typing in a City or a City, State. Default for the Location Code is All.

    1. Click the 3-dots Button to open a pop up window menu with a list of Location Codes.

      1. Select the specific Location Code from the pop up menu window.

      2. Hold down the Ctrl Key for multiple selections.

    2. When typing in a City or a City and State be careful to put a comma after the city and a space between the comma and the state.

      1. Use the 2 letter abbreviation for the state. Example: "Ontario, CA"

      2. You can search using the delimiter "or" on more than one city. Example:"Ontario or Burbank" or "Ontario, CA or Burbank, CA" 

  2. Date Range Parameters are Start Date to End Date. The dates cannot be left blank. The ISMT application with run a validation on the dates you enter.

    1. The default dates cover the entire range data of the database.

    2. Type in the blanks to change the Date Range. The ISMT application will run a validation on the dates that you type in and warn you if the dates do not meet accepted parameters.

      1. The Start Date must be earlier than the End Date.

      2. The End Date must be before the current date.

    3. To refine further type in a Duration range in hour increments in the format of > (greater than), < (less than), or = (equals) number of hours. Example: ">0" or "=1" 

  3. Facility & Event Parameters are:

    1. Facility & Service Type defaults to All. Type in a specific facility or service type to change the default. Example: "ARTS"

    2. Sub Type to further refines the Facility & Service Type parameters.
      1. Type in a sub type appropriate to the Facility or Service Type you have entered previously.

      2. Example: If the Facility is ARTS then the sub type would be "IIE" or "IIIA", etc. (Roman Numerals)

    3. Outage Type is Selected by Clicking the 3-dots Button to open a pop up window menu with a list of Outage Types.
      1. Select the specific Outage Type from the pop up menu window.

      2. Hold down the Ctrl Key for multiple selections.

    4. Impact is Selected by Clicking the 3-dots Button to open a pop up window menu with a list of kinds of Impact.

      1. Select the specific Impact from the pop up menu window.

      2. Hold down the Ctrl Key for multiple selections.  

  4. Delays Parameters have 4 options:

    1. Arrival defaults to Any and can be modified from drop down list to >0 or =0.

    2. Departure defaults to Any and can be modified from drop down list to >0 or =0.

    3. Enroute defaults to Any and can be modified from drop down list to >0 or =0.

    4. Check the box to Select Any Fight Delay. This option overrides the other three.

  1. Outage Causes Parameters have 4 options:

    1. All - Check the Button to Select.

    2. Scheduled - Check the Button to Select.

    3. Unscheduled - Check the Button to Select.

    4. Select Cause specifies a specific cause.

      1. Select the Select Cause button.

      2. Click the 3-dots Button to open a pop up window and view the Outage Cause list.

      3. Select the specific outage cause(s) from the list and Click the OK button to enter.

      4. Hold down the Cntrl Key to Select multiple outage causes from the list. 

  2. Other Information includes 4 Parameters:

    1. MMSLIR - If a known MMSLIR is typed in, the report will display the corresponding outage. Example: "ZTL-2-70112". If part of the MMSLIR code (for example: "ZTL-2-7") is used, the report will display all the outages with a MMSLIR that contains the text typed in.

    2. Details -- Type a search string such as "vandalism or software failure or GPS and high frequency".

    3. Resolution - Type a search string such as "self and corrected".

    4. Is Follow Up? - Defaults to Either. From drop down list you can select Yes or No. 

Generate a Report 
  1. To Select a Report to generate Click the button by the Report name.

    1. The Outage Reports Summarize by: parameter defaults to None.

      1. When you use the default None the Report Screen will then display in table format as an abbreviated 5 column Brief Report.
        1. The column titles are:
          1. Location Code
          2. City, State
          3. Start Date
          4. End Date
          5. Facility/Service Type

        2. Click the arrow buttons just below the Title box to view multiple page reports.

        3. Click the Go link at the end of each listed item to view details for that item. Use the Browser Back button to return to the Brief Report Screen list from a Detail screen.

        4. To see details for all of the items in the Brief Report Click on the Show Expanded Report button. The Expanded Report will display sequentially the details for all the list items on the Brief Report display.

        5. To return to the Brief Report from the Expanded Report Click on the Show Brief Report button.

      2. When you specify parameters for the Outage Report the Report Screen will display a bar graph with a table of columns.

        1. The Outage Report Summarize by: can be refined by choosing Year, Quarter, or Month from the first drop down list.

        2. Selecting Facility or Impact from the second drop down list will further refine the report. This option is only available if you have already made a specific selection from the first drop down list.

        3. The table shows the data depicted in the graph.  

    2. Flight Delay parameters default to Year with Facility in the second drop down list. The Report will display a bar graph with a table of columns below it.

      1. You can change the first option to Quarter or Month from the first drop down list.

      2. There are no additional options on the second pop down menu.

      3. The table shows the data depicted in the graph.

    3. Click the Show Report button to generate the report. It is likely that generating the report will seem to take a long time. You will be able to see the browser logo animation running in the up right corner of you browser frame as an indication that the application is busy generating the report. There is a lot of data to process and a lot of processing that is run. Patience is needed.

    4. Click the Export button to export the report data to Excel.

    5. User the browser Print button to Print a Report from a Report Screen.

    6. Remember to type a Title into the Title Box in the top area of the screen if you are going to Save the report for later retrieval.
