Management Summary

NOTE: To return to the Main Menu from any Data Selection Screen, Click on ISMT in the headder banner at the top right of the page.

Select Management Summary from the Main Menu.

Click the Go button.

The Management Summary provides the most popular commonly used reports from the NOCC Database and Equipment Availability from the NAPRS Database. The kinds of reports that can be generated are:


Facility Type | Date Range | Cause | Interruptions Causing Flight Delays | Reports

Set the report parameters. 

  1. The Facility Type defaults to ARTS because this is the most commonly used type. The Facility Code defaults to All or you can choose a specific Facility Code from the drop down list. The code options are:
    1. ARTS IIE
    2. ARTS IIIA
    3. ARTS IIIE 

  2. Date Range is for a twelve month period and defaults to Ending In the current month and year. A date later than the current month will not be accepted as valid.

    1. Use the first drop down list to Select a year. The most commonly used range of years are included in the list.

    2. Use the second drop down list to Select a month.

    3. The report will include the twelve month prior to the selected year and month. 

  3. Cause defaults to Unscheduled. 

  4. Checking the Interruptions Causing Flight Delays button will further refine the report to show only those instances. 

Generate a Report
  1. To Select a Report to generate Click the button next to the Report name. 

    1. 12-Month Interruption Reports can be summarized by: Facility or Impact.

      1. When you use summarized by Facility the Report will display:

        1. a bar chart showing a 12 month time trend based on the Number of Interruptions for the selected Facility Type. When you use the default Facility Code All the chart shows a 12 month time trend comparison between facilities.

        2. a table showing the data depicted in the bar chart

        3. a pie chart showing the Interruptions Percent Shared by Each System for the 12 Month Period. When you use the default Facility Code All the pie chart will have a percentage section for each facility type.

      2. When you use summarized by Impact the Report will display:

        1. a bar chart showing a 12 month time trend based on the Number of Interruptions for each month

          1. the percentage Interruptions for each month that resulted in Reduced Service

          2. the percentage Interruptions for each month that were Unscheduled - Full Interruption

        2. a table showing the data depicted in the bar chart.  

    2. The Flight Delays defaults to summarized by Facility. The Report will display:

      1. a bar chart showing a 12 month time trend chart for the Number of Flight Delays for each month.

        1. When you use the default Facility Code All the chart shows a 12 month time trend comparison between facilities.

        2. When you have a specific Facility Code selected the bar chart will show the time trend for that Facility.

      2. a table showing the data depicted in the bar chart.

      3. a pie chart showing the Flight Delays Percent Shared by Each System for the 12 Month Period. If you used the default Facility Code All the pie chart shows comparison between Facilities.  

    3. The Detailed Interruptions and Flight Delays in the last month shows the last month based on the Month and Year entered as the Ending In parameter. The generated report will display a 6 column list grouped by Facility Type Code:
      1. Location Code
      2. Location
      3. Date
      4. Interruption Duration
      5. Flight Delays
      6. Impact 

    4. The Equipment Availability Report shows:

      1. a bar chart showing the percentages of availability for each facility during the specified year range. This report always uses the Facility Code All parameter.

      2. a table showing the data depicted in the bar chart.

    5. Click the Show Report button to generate the report.

    6. Click the Export button to export the report data to Excel.

    7. User the browser Print button to Print a Report from a Report Screen.

    8. Remember to type a Title into the Title Box in the top area of the screen if you are going to Save the report for later retrieval.
