YOU CAN'T JUDGE A BUG BY ITS COVER

An Original Children's Musical - Production by The California Theatre Ensemble - Pasadena, CA - 1980

For the sake of simplicity a base of leotards and tights with simple add-on pieces were used. Other than the reflective sunglasses on the Spider, stylized makeup was used to make the illusion of buggy eyes. The specialty shapes were built with shapes sculpted with airconditioning foam. (Excellent material sense it breathes fairly well and is washable.)
