THE HORSEDEALER'S DAUGHTER - FILM

Producer/Director by Bob Burgos, Produced by Jeanie Field, starring:
Katherine Cannon, Phillip Anglin, Irving Pen - 1985
Aired on Arts & Entertainment Channel in 1986

Film was set in 19teens in the American Southwest. The costume challenge was to create the illusion of a bleak chilly winter climate, despite the 80 degree temperatures. The pictures here were shot on the "in town" day and are primarily of the extras. Kathrine Cannon appears in the first picture carrying the basket with the blond unhatted head. The costume crew did a wonderful job of transforming an odd group that arrived by bus into a town full of highly individual characters. The Paramount Wardrobe Department provided us with an excellent selection of costumes and costme items to work with.
